Free baseball sim leagues
Leagues that play while you sleep.
Draft a team with friends or CPU managers, set your lineup on your phone, and come back to box scores. Real seasons from 1927 to 2019, tournaments, trades and playoffs, all in your browser.
No download. No ads. A league takes about a minute to start.

How it works
Three steps to opening day
- 01
Pick a pace
Three sims a day, one a night, weekends only, or whenever you press Sim. The server plays the games; nobody has to be online.
- 02
Draft your team
Live on a pick clock or slow over a few days, with friends and CPU managers. Or have rosters dealt out and start right away.
- 03
Manage, then watch
Set your lineup and rotation, trade, claim off waivers. Then come back to box scores, play-by-play and the standings.
Historical seasons
Every player. Every at-bat. Their year.
Pick a season and the whole league is in the pool: stars, platoon bats, September call-ups. Each one is rated from what he actually did that year, and the games are played in that year’s baseball.

Tournaments
One sitting. One champion.
A tournament is a bracket instead of a season. Draw it, sim it round by round or watch it live with everyone in the chat, and crown a champion the same night.

Drafts & leagues
Draft night, then a whole season.
Invite friends with a code, let CPU managers take the empty seats, and draft. Then set your lineup and rotation, trade, work the waiver wire, and chase a pennant while the games sim on schedule.

The sim
Every plate appearance, played out.
Games are not coin flips weighted by overall ratings. Each plate appearance is batter against pitcher in that era’s league, and everything you see in a box score is what actually happened in the sim.

Questions
Before you draft
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Leagues, drafts, trades, playoffs, tournaments and two real seasons are free, with no ads. Premium is an optional subscription for people who run a lot of leagues or want every season.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
- When do the games happen?
- On the schedule your league picks: nightly, a few times a day, weekends only, or whenever the commissioner presses Sim. The server plays the games, so nobody has to be online.
- Can I play on my own?
- Yes. Every empty seat is a CPU manager with its own personality and difficulty, so a league is playable with one person and fills in as friends join.
- Are the players real?
- Both. A league can use invented players generated for it, or every player from a real season, rated from that season’s play-by-play. Real clubs appear only by abbreviation.
- Is this affiliated with Major League Baseball?
- No. Baseball Sim Leagues is an independent game, not affiliated with or endorsed by MLB, the MLBPA or any club.
